Jason McQuillen is a Partner at MinterEllison, where he leads both the Legal Optimisation consultancy and the AI Advisory practice. With over two decades of experience spanning top-tier law firms, global corporates, Big Four consultancies, and legal start-ups across Australia, the UK, and South Africa, Jason brings a rich and diverse perspective to transforming legal service delivery.

A recognised expert in modern legal operations, Jason co-founded one of the world’s first “NewLaw” firms in London. He has since advised some of the largest and most complex legal functions across APAC, EMEA, and North America. Prior to joining MinterEllison, he served as Head of Legal Operations Transformation Services for APAC at KPMG, where he built and led a Band One Chambers-ranked team known for its innovation and impact. Recently his MinterEllison practice also received the Global-wide Band One Chambers ranking in the for Legal Transformation Consulting, with one client of Jason commenting “Jason McQuillen has well rounded experience in this field, and he’s built and grown teams.”
