Fair Work Ombudsman
Anna commenced her new role as the Fair Work Ombudsman on 1 September this year.
After nearly nine years as a Deputy President of the Fair Work Commission, in November 2020, she returned to the workplace relations consultancy CoSolve, which she co-founded in 1999.
Immediately prior to going to the Commission, Anna combined her role in CoSolve with non-executive directorships of industry superannuation-owned financial services companies, ME Bank and IFM. She was also the non-executive chair of the law firm Slater & Gordon Ltd.
Anna came to these roles after a nearly 20-year career in the trade union movement. Partly concurrent with her trade union role, she was a board member of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, a member of the board of SOCOG (Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games) and the board of the NRMA.
Anna is an accredited mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation System. She is also an experienced facilitator and arbitrator.
