Jessica is General Counsel and Director of Workplace Relations at the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the country’s largest and most representative business network. In this role Jessica leads ACCI’s policy and advocacy work in workplace relations, discrimination and diversity, privacy, modern slavery and international labour issues.

As a leading employer advocate Jessica works across industry, government, parliament and media to secure tangible outcomes for members in designing and implementing workplace relations policy.

Regularly appearing before the Fair Work Commission on matters of national importance, Jessica represents employers in test cases on the application of the Fair Work Act and modern awards, and for the Annual Wage Review.

Jessica is a member of the National Workplace Relations Consultative Council and sits on a range of tripartite working groups convened by government departments, regulators and agencies. She represents Australian business internationally at bodies such as the International Labour Organisation.

Before starting at ACCI, Jessica was an adviser to the former Commonwealth Attorney-General and Minister for Industrial Relations. Prior to that she practiced as an employment lawyer at Clayton Utz, and in London at Slaughter and May.
